The Maya Suite is a luxurious, spacious freestanding suite directly on the beach. The Maya is the most highly requested room at Katamah with a king size bed, two fully screened ocean view porches with comfortable outdoor seating, private hammock, en suite bathroom and kitchenette. The bathroom features a hand painted Mexican bowl sink, hand-carved Indian teake mirror and antique brass rain shower with hot water. The 14-foot high ceilings and 16 feet of wrap around windows and double doors that open up onto the beach conduct the cool sea breeze straight through so you can always keep nice and cool! This suite also has Air Conditioning for extra comfort.

From its beautiful Moroccan architectural details to the grandness of its four poster hand-made king size bed the Laila is an ideal beach vacation home for anyone looking for a bit of luxury. The French glass doors opening up onto a fully screened terrace. The Laila Suite features a spa like bath house with walk-in rain shower, classic cast iron claw foot tub and a lovely hand carved teak mirror from India, crowned in the gentle starry pattern of a Moroccan lantern. The Laila has been our most requested room at Katamah for 10 years. The Laila Suite is great for special occasions, working remotely or families with 1-2 young children. The Saida is in the Moroccan Villa along the beautiful, shady verandah with outdoor lounge seating and lovely garden views. The Habibi is a Katamah classic, nestled at the far end of the Moroccan veranda, it has cathedral wood panel ceilings with a beautiful stain glass window feature. This room has a walk in closet, private indoor bathroom with a hand-made Moroccan tub and Indian mirror with bowl sink. The Habibi is popular for one or two week stays with couples or solo travelers. The Amina Cottage is an open living plan studio beach apartment designed to allow guests to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The colonial style cottage has a wrap around screened porch on two sides so that you can open the double doors and feel the breeze off the ocean. The private deck area is the perfect private place to relax or work remotely. The enclosed covered screen porch keeps the interior mosquito free. The outdoor shower is refreshing with cold water and ocean views. The surplus of windows and porch doors allow the sea breeze to come right through. There is also a wall fan above the bed. The small efficiency kitchenette has mini fridge bar sink and electric kettle. The Amina is perfect for a couples weekend or solo travelers beach retreat.
